Evidence & Methodology
Cuore Labs uses an evidence-led standard for scientific, ingredient and performance communication. Product claims are intended to describe cosmetic function and documented testing, not to diagnose, treat or cure disease.
Our claim hierarchy
- Formula facts: Ingredient names, product format, pH and other specifications are stated only when they match the current approved formula or specification.
- Mechanism claims: Statements about chelation, mineral binding or surfactant behaviour are used when supported by established cosmetic chemistry or referenced scientific literature.
- Product testing: Statements such as tested in hard water are used only when a documented test protocol, conditions and result are available internally.
- Consumer outcomes: Statements about softness, shine, comfort, texture or appearance are presented as cosmetic outcomes and are not guaranteed for every user.
- Medical claims: Cuore Labs does not position cosmetic products as treatments or cures for medical conditions.
Statistics and environmental data
Numerical claims about water hardness, household exposure, residue, efficacy or city-level conditions must have a traceable source, measurement date or study date, methodology, population or sample definition where applicable, units and a clear description of what the number represents. Unsupported, undated or context-free statistics are not published as factual claims.
Water-hardness data
City or location-level water information is distinguished from household tap-water measurements. Groundwater, municipal supply, borewell water and individual household water are not treated as interchangeable datasets. Cuore-specific measurements are published only after the sampling method, analytical method and results have been documented and reviewed.
What we do not claim
- Hard water directly causes biological hair loss.
- A cosmetic cleanser or shampoo softens household water.
- A cosmetic product treats or cures acne, eczema, dermatitis or medical hair-loss conditions.
- Every user will experience the same cosmetic result.
- Absolute statements about Indian cities, households or water quality without defined evidence.
Evidence maintenance
Claims are reviewed whenever a formula, test protocol, supplier specification, regulatory requirement or supporting source changes. If evidence is insufficient, the claim is removed or rewritten at a narrower level of certainty.
